The hardest deal is done as Arsenal secured Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a three-year deal in a major boost to Mikel Arteta. It is unclear how much of an impact it will have on recruitment, but the Gabonese striker staying at Arsenal will surely attract the best talent in Europe to join the revolution at the Emirates.
There is money to spend, but Arteta appears to need to sell in addition to the funds handed down by the owners, with two big-money signings possible before the end of the transfer window.
Here are the latest transfer rumours, done deals and more surrounding the Emirates.
GUNNERS TURN DOWN STRIKER BID
Folarin Balogun is set to leave Arsenal, though whether that’s this year or next isn’t clear yet.
He’s got a year left on his deal and the Gunners value the U23 striker at £15 million, but there have been no takers at that price.
Sheffield United have bid £3m for him, which has been swiftly turned down, reports the Mail.

AOUAR AND PARTEY NEXT
After securing Aubameyang’s future, Arsenal will move on to acquiring top talent in the shape of Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar.
The Mirror claim Arteta wants both, but that sales will need to fund most of the cash needed to acquire the Atletico and Lyon stars.
The Spaniards value Partey at more than £50m, while the French side want more than £40m for Aouar.

Mikel Arteta has been speaking about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract extension.
The Arsenal manager said: “It was important for Pierre-Emerick to stay with us. He’s a superb player with an incredible mentality.
“Being the player to have taken the least amount of time to reach 50 goals with this club tells you everything you need to know about him and his way of working.
“He’s an important leader for the team and a big part of what we’re building. He wants to be up there with the best players in the world and leave his mark. He can achieve that here.”

LACAZETTE STILL SET TO STAY
Alexandre Lacazette will remain an Arsenal player despite news of a contract extension for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, reports John Cross.
The club will however look to sell Matteo Guendouzi, Emiliano Martinez, Lucas Torreira and Sead Kolasinac in order to raise funds for a revamp of their midfield.
Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar are both wanted by Arsenal, but both would cost around £50 million.
Martinez is set to move to Aston Villa this week for a fee of £20 million.
